The cult-favorite Quick burger, with its juicy patty, melted cheddar, and signature tarragon and caper sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 pieces brioche hamburger bun
- 300 g ground beef patty
- 2 slices sliced cheddar cheese
- to taste iceberg lettuce
- 1 piece tomato
- 1 piece red onion
- 4 pieces sweet and sour pickles
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- to taste fine salt
- to taste ground black pepper
- 8 tbsp Giant sauce
Method
- Prepare the Giant sauce according to the prepared component instructions.
- Slice the tomato into rounds, the red onion into thin rings, the lettuce into shreds, and the pickles into lengthwise slices. Set aside.
- Divide the ground beef into two equal portions and form patties about 2 cm thick, packed well. Salt and pepper both sides.
- Preheat the oven on the broiler setting to 250°C. Place the baking sheet inside for 5 minutes so it gets extremely hot.
- Carefully remove the baking sheet, place the patties on it (add a drizzle of oil if necessary). Broil for 5 minutes. Flip the patties, place a slice of cheddar on each, and continue cooking for 4 to 5 minutes depending on desired doneness.
- Meanwhile, split the buns horizontally and toast them on the hot pan or in the oven for 1 to 2 minutes until golden.
- Assemble each burger: on the bottom half of the bun, arrange a few lettuce leaves, the patty with its cheddar, two tomato rounds, onion rings, a few pickle slices, and coat generously with Giant sauce. Close with the top half of the bun.
- Serve immediately, accompanied by homemade french fries if desired.
