Pink Strawberry-Banana Milkshake (and its Green Secret)

A thick milkshake-style smoothie, pink and fruity, where spinach hides discreetly for an iron boost without altering the taste or color. Ideal for a balanced and comforting snack.

Ingredients

  • 300 g fresh strawberries
  • 2 pieces bananas
  • 3 leaves fresh spinach
  • 400 g plain Greek yogurt
  • 200 ml plain almond milk

Method

  1. Wash the strawberries and spinach leaves thoroughly. Hull the strawberries. Peel the bananas and cut them into pieces.
  2. In a blender, combine the strawberries, banana pieces, spinach leaves, Greek yogurt, and almond milk.
  3. Blend on high speed for 30 to 45 seconds, until a smooth and creamy texture forms. If the mixture is too thick, add a little extra almond milk.
  4. Taste and, if necessary, add a drizzle of maple syrup or honey (optional) - the fruits are usually sweet enough.
  5. Pour immediately into glasses. You can garnish each glass with a strawberry slice or a pinch of chia seeds for a crunchy touch (optional). Serve cold.
